India vs England test, UEFA Champions League, US Open

In this episode of the NL Playoffs, hosts Aniketh and Gowtham chat with others Laundry Abhijeet subscriber and Laundry writer Anand Vardhan on Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Manchester United. While Gowtham believes Ronaldo won’t be as good as he used to be, given his years of advancement, Aniketh maintains that the former Juventus star player Real Madrid is the leader Manchester United needed. Anand agrees with parts of Gowtham’s and Aniketh’s arguments.

Speaking of the drama of the Italian Grand Prix, where title contenders Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton eliminated each other from the race, which saw Mclaren’s Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris secure the top two places on the podium.

The panel then discusses the India vs England test series. Here, Anand shares his take on the generational divide in cricket and the difference between new players and old ones.

Abhijeet is keen to talk about the US Open and how Emma Raducanu won the women’s championship after placing 150th in the world. The panel also looks at this old debate: who is the best tennis player, Novak Djokovic or Roger Federer?
