“It’s not easy to prepare several matches a week but we are satisfied with our progress”

Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni believes the Nerazzurri have progressed well as a team despite the grueling conditions of having to play during a busy schedule.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, the 22-year-old pointed out that the Nerazzurri have practically always had more than one game a week to prepare and have always remained resilient.

Many of the squad will also be involved with their national teams during the international break and won’t have much respite, but the club’s schedule has proven to be particularly demanding.

With just a few days to rest and prepare between some matches, the team had to make the most of their limited time, but they did so by starting strong in the campaign according to Bastoni.
