Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved has taken aim at UEFA over financial fair play saying it is not working.

Juve have recently been on a collision course with UEFA as they continue to support the breakaway competition, the European Super League.

One of the major problems that made the European body appear weak is its application of the FFP.

PSG and Manchester City have passed the regulations as a joke with their transfer expenses.

UEFA has been powerless to prevent clubs from finding loopholes in the rules and using them to their advantage.

For Nedved the settlement is a joke and it just doesn’t work and he hopes they can see it.

The former Juve striker says the rule is supposed to make you spend what you earn and not more.

Asked about financial fair play at the Salone del Libro festival in Turin, Nedved responded as quoted by Italy football: ” It does not work. I hope UEFA has noticed that.

“The idea should be to spend what you earn, not to spend more.”

If UEFA continues to struggle to enforce FFP rules, it could see football fans turn against it and that could point them towards the Super League which gives clubs more power.
