Tottenham to offer star to sign swap deal to secure Serie A midfielder

Tottenham are reportedly offering one of their star signings as they draft a new swap deal for AC Milan midfielder Frank Kessie.

Spurs’ attention has been drawn to Kessie as he only has one year left on his contract. Fabio Paratici, who has a large network of contacts in Italy, presented his agent with a proposed five-year deal to join the club with a free transfer next year. However, this plan has been undermined.

Sporting director and legend of Italian club Paolo Maldini has stepped out and strongly suggested that they would sell it this summer.

This decision was made because they have already suffered financially by letting Hakan Calhanoglu and Gianluigi Donnarumma go for nothing this year.

Paratici’s offer of an annual salary of € 8million to the 24-year-old was based on the absence of transfer fees. Therefore, they don’t seem to have the funds to buy it.

But now it looks like he has come up with a new attack plan to make Kessie a Tottenham player.

La Repubblica Report Spurs will put Tanguy Ndombele in a swap offer with AC Milan.

Ndombele, also 24, was signed in 2019 for an estimated £ 54million. But only two years later his departure seems likely.

The Frenchman is not favored by Nuno Espirito Santo. As such, was presented as a weight two previous exchange requests.

In contrast, Nuno is a huge fan of Kessie and apparently has asked him to sign.

Kessie was impressive in the middle of the park in Milan. In the last two seasons he has scored 7, 4 and 13 goals in Serie A.

Many of them came from the penalty spot, of which he is quite the specialist. Throughout his career, he has converted an impressive 28 shots on goal.

Meanwhile, a separate report claims Tottenham are ready to make a firm offer for Portugal international Joao Palhinha before the summer transfer window closes.

According to Save, Spurs are expected to make a € 20million move for the 26-year-old defensive midfielder. However, his club Sporting Lisbon values the player at double that price.

At this final window step, it remains to be seen whether the two clubs can come to a compromise.

Palhinha impressed for his country at Euro 2020. He is also expected to compete for a starting place in North London.
