The Football Manager 2022 beta is officially available on PC and Mac, meaning players can dive right in and start their saves!

The saves are kept in the official version and you just need to have pre-ordered the game to access them. If you buy the game now, the beta will unlock before the full game releases on November 9.

One of the biggest attractions of the new game is finding out what the budgets of the best clubs are.

So here’s a look at the 20 Premier League transfer budgets!

Arsenal – £ 10m – Salary budget – £ 100,000 p / w

It’s not a huge budget for Arsenal, but they have a lot of young players who can make a real impression on the side.

There is also the possibility of taking advantage of a player like Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang if you are looking to raise funds.

Aston Villa – £ 20m – Salary Budget – £ 70,000 p / w

Villa sold Jack Grealish to Manchester City this summer and has spent a lot to replace him.

But there is enough money out there to bring in a few other players to strengthen the squad even more.

Brentford – £ 12m – Salary Budget – £ 50,000 p / w

Newly promoted Brentford has some quite decent players on his books including Ivan Toney who you rely on to hit the back of the net.

There’s enough in the kitten to bring in a new first-team star if you want to get through the first transfer window.

Brighton – £ 15m – Salary budget – £ 50,000 p / w

Brighton have impressive players at the club and a £ 15million kitten is big enough to improve the squad Graham Potter has put together.

You’ll have to ride a bit, but it’s a decent budget.

Burnley – £ 10m – Salary Budget – £ 50,000 p / w

Not a huge amount of money to work with here.

Sean Dyche worked wonders on a shoestring, and you’ll have to do the same in Turf Moor.

Chelsea – £ 40m – Salary budget – £ 194,000 p / w

Chelsea

It’s a decent budget for a club at the highest level in the Premier League.

You have the money here to get a good first team star, and the salary budget to pay it well too!

Crystal Palace – £ 1.8m – Salary Budget – £ 20,000 p / w

Palace doesn’t have any money, really.

You may need to sell Wilfried Zaha if you want to invest in the team.

Everton – £ 2m – Salary budget – £ 100,000 p / w

The salary budget is there, but a transfer budget of £ 2million is a paltry sum in the Premier League.

You might need loans and free agents by the gate of Goodison Park.

Leeds United – £ 10m – Salary budget – £ 50,000 p / w

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are impressive in many ways, but there isn’t a lot of money to spend on attracting new players.

A striker may be needed, especially with Patrick Bamford as the club’s only senior striker.

Leicester City – £ 10m – Salary Budget – £ 50,000 p / w

Leicester’s squad are good enough that they just need tinkering, but there is the lure of potentially moving first-team players to strengthen the squad.

James Maddison was heavily linked with a release this summer and you might just take advantage of him to fundraise.

Liverpool – £ 20m – Salary budget – £ 100,000 p / w

Liverpool’s budget doesn’t match the best clubs in the game, but where do you need to improve?

You don’t need a huge investment to be at the top of the table.

Manchester City – £ 100m – Salary budget – £ 300,000 p / w

A huge budget for a big club.

Unless you’re a fan, starting with City can be cheating, really, but it’s a lot of fun.

Manchester United – £ 30m – Salary budget – £ 200,000 p / w

There are a few questions about United, especially Paul Pogba’s future, and you need a defensive midfielder.

Fortunately, you have the money to do it.

Newcastle United – £ 200m – Salary budget – £ 600,000 p / w

The buyout was reflected in the game, and it’s the biggest budget on FM22.

Newcastle probably need to improve in every position so you’ll have to spend some money.

Norwich City – £ 10m – Salary Budget – £ 50,000 p / w

£ 10million to improve a side that could, historically, be one of the worst in the Premier League.

It’s not enough, really, is it?

Southampton – £ 5m – Salary budget – £ 30,000 p / w

Phew. £ 5million for Southampton is hardly anything.

Loans and free transfers will once again be the order of the day.

Tottenham Hotspur – £ 15m – Salary Budget – £ 100,000 p / w

It’s £ 15million to start for Spurs.

But you can still sell Harry Kane …

Watford – £ 2m – Salary Budget – £ 30,000 p / w

Another newly promoted team with next to nothing to spend.

This is a real challenge for a wheel dealer.

West Ham – £ 8m – Salary Budget – £ 50,000 p / w

West Ham have a great squad at this point so they don’t need to spend big.

But a new striker is needed, and £ 8million doesn’t go very far.

Wolves – £ 20m – Salary Budget – £ 50,000 p / w

It’s a nifty little budget for Wolves and they also have a good squad to start with.

You could be pushing for European football soon enough!
