Miralem Pjanic’s representative will apparently be in Italy over the next few days to speak with Inter Milan despite ties to Chelsea.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Fali Ramadani flies off to have a conversation with Milan about a possible departure from Barcelona for his client.

Pjanic has been on the outskirts of Barca’s plans since leaving Juventus last summer for £ 54.8million (Guardian).

He has only started six La Liga games in 2020/21, the last of which came in February.

It seems the Spanish side have already come to the end of their dentition with the Bosnian and would like him to leave in that transfer window.

Mainly to take part of their payroll, which continues to cause them financial headaches.

Trying to unload the midfielder will not be easy, due to the current economic market that football finds itself in.

But Pjanic will not be short of suitors if he leaves Barca, especially the Premier League.

Chelsea, along with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, have been bound, not to mention the reported interest from Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

However, if Mundo Deportivo is right, the player could well be on his way to Inter before the next campaign.

The 31-year-old knows Serie A well, having spent a total of nine years there with Roma and Juve.

This can of course mean that the Nerazzurri will have to downsize their own team in order to house Pjanic.

Romelu Lukaku is a man Chelsea would like to see leave the San Siro this season as they continue to follow their former attacker.
