‘Inter have no more room for error in pursuit of Serie A title’

Italian journalist Fabrizio Biasin believes that at this stage there is virtually no room for error in Inter’s Serie A title race.

Speaking to Italian media outlet Calciomercato.it’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInter1908Biasin felt the Nerazzurri needed to keep growing and avoid further slip-ups given their position in the Serie A table.

Inter have managed three league wins in a row, which, coupled with their heroism in the Champions League, suggests they are a side that have recovered from their initial poor form.

However, the effects of this poor start to the season remain.

Inter have a big gap to fill on the likes of Napoli, AC Milan, Lazio, Atalanta and Roma at the top of the table.

The Nerazzurri can hardly rely on all of these teams to seriously falter, so if their goal is to catch up, they will have to be practically perfect themselves.

Looking back on Saturday’s win over Fiorentina, Biasin said ‘if you concede three goals in a game you still have problems’.

“Compared to the sinkhole of a few weeks ago, everything has changed although there may also be some mental fatigue,” he continued.

“Now the disadvantage they gave themselves at the start of the season means they have no room for error if they want to win the Scudetto.”
